If you attempt
to dial into SoHoConnect and subsequently receive a message informing
you that Dial-Up Networking could not start verifying the username and
password, please read through this section for information on how to fix
the problem.
Try connecting to SoHoConnect again. If this does not work, you may need to un-install and then reinstall the Dial-Up Networking component of Windows 95. You may need to have your Windows 95 CD-ROM or disks to complete this process. Please skip to the page on Un-Installing and then reinstalling Dial-Up Networking for detailed instructions.
After reinstalling Dial-Up Networking, please try connecting to SoHoConnect. If you still receive the same error message, you might need to reinstall the Dial-Up Scripting Tool from your Windows 95 CD-ROM, and then re-configure it accordingly. Please skip to the page on Installing Microsoft Dial-Up Scripting for detailed instructions.
If none of these methods solves this problem, we suggest you configure your system for a Manual (Terminal Window) Login. Please skip to the section on Configuring a Manual Login for instructions.
