To disable Call Waiting Many customers have call waiting installed as an option with their phone service. Internet users find this tends to interfere with clear, stable Internet Communications. In order to disable this feature, double click the My Computer icon on your Windows desktop. Then double click the Dial-up Networking icon. Dial-Up Networking will appear on your screen.
Click on Location. On My Locations, tick To disable call waiting, dial: and in the pull down menu select *70,. This only disables call waiting for the length of the call and when you hang up, it will automatically be activated again. This has been set as the default for using our service.
